Purposeful spiritual and entertainment activities

The family of the Franciscan Boys Home in Bethlehem represented by Father Sandro, who is the director of the House, organized a meaningful spiritual and social activity on Friday, May 21 2021, in cooperation and coordination with the Palestinian Bible Society in Bethlehem. The activity included a group of spiritual hymns as part of the prayers and graphic presentations on the values of cooperation and group work. Moreover, the children were divided into groups to carry out practical activities about the values. The participants were creative and interactive in the activities.
As a reward for the children’s commitment at the activities, they went to the swimming pool in Beit Jalla at the Orthodox Club to swim and to have lunch there. The atmosphere was full of love and joy.

Visit of the De La Salle scouts Bethlehem

Part of the visit of the Wolf Vanguard belonging to the De La Salle Bethlehem Scouts Group to the Franciscan Child House in Bethlehem to know about the house. Father Sandro who is the director of the house has presented a brief explanation about the establishment of the house and what kinds of benefits they offer to the members of the house. Thanks a lot for this special visit.

Visit to Telhami Center and Palestinian Bible Association


The family of the Franciscan Boys Home in Bethlehem, represented by Father Sandro who is he director of the House, in cooperation with the Palestinian Bible Association organized field visit to the Ancient Telhami Center in Bethlehem. Moreover, the visit included learning about the authentic history of the city of Bethlehem and its ancient heritage. In addition to, the participants visited the Palestinian Bible Association’s office where they had breakfast. The participants chanted some religious hymns and viewed photos about women from the Bible to highlight on the importance of the role of women since ancient times. At the end of the visit, blessing was given by Father Sandro.

Honoring of the graduate student Edward Saadeh

Part of honoring the graduate student Edward Saadeh who was a member of the Franciscan Child House family. A special Egg Hunting activity of the Franciscan Child House in Bethlehem

The family of the Franciscan Child House in Bethlehem organized a special Egg Hunting activity for their children which was one of their social responsibilities, in cooperation with Jala Smile Center whose managers were Dr. Elias Hani and Dr. Joanna Batarseh Hani.Our children and the children of House of Peace in Bethlehem participated in this distinguished activity which was held in the facilities of this institution. Moreover, this special activity included several activities such as performance of clowns, face painting, and entertainment games.At the end of this special activity, gifts and coloured eggs were distributed to the participants after they had found the coloured eggs in the playground of this institution. Thanks a lot to the management and the staff of Jala Smile Centre and to everyone who contributed to this distinctive interactive activity.

Activity with the Pastoral Family Groups Committee of Bethlehem

The Pastoral Family Groups Committee of Bethlehem parish hosted the boys of the Franciscan Boy’s Home, headed by Father Rami Asakrieh, Father Sandro Tomašević and Sister Rabha Kayrouz, in a social sporting activity, where the two groups participated in a family atmosphere of joy and love.
